Hatch that doesn't print

Hi guys,

I would like to create a custom hatch (solid hatch) which lets not to print what will be hidden underneath the hatched area.

Is there any hatch like that already or if not, how may i script it?

Have you tried using the command WIPEOUT?

As Tuns says a wipeout is the most common method of doing it, but the standard solid hatch will hide objects as well, providing the draw order is set correctly, a solid hatch can also be used if you give it a higher elevation and set the shaded viewport options to legacy hidden, in which case the draw order is not important as it is the elevation that determines the way things are printed.

Wipeouts are notorious for 'screwing up'. Instead using a solid hatch with colour 255,255,255 (i.e. white) is the way to go.
