Official "Hello" and a questio
Hello fellas!My name is Dominick and I've been using AutoCAD for about a year now, but am starting to get in depth with it due to my major at college.
I'm pretty savvy when it comes to things, but I'm far from an expert.
My first question is this:
I've created a drawing (custom title block), and I've been assigned to add attributes to the title block. I've done the attributes and everything went smooth there, but how do I convert the whole drawing into a block so when I insert it into another drawing, it asks me all the prompts that I have typed in for the attributes?
I apologize if its already been answered numerous times, but I literally just registered and haven't even looked throughout the forums yet.
I thank you in advance and look forward to meeting new people and learning more about AutoCAD.

-D as above but one other "tip". If you set ATTDIA to 1 you will get the list of attributes to be filled in but if you set ATTDIA to 0 the block will be inserted with the default values for the attributes. If you then want to change the attributes you can double click your bloack.
