and enter -DWGUNITS at the commandline (include the hyphen),
and follow the prompts to definitively ascertain your database units, insert units
and the like.
I just noticed that you are using LT, and I am not sure if that command will be available for you or not.
Give it a try though. Re: Area. If the area you are attempting to obtain is defined by a polyline you can use the Object option of the Area command otherwise AutoCAD expects you to pick points on your geometry to define the area.These picks should be done using your OSnaps for accuracy.
