Earthwork x-sections with Exce
Hello friendsI saw a youtube video "Cross Section in AutoCAD".But i could not understand how to transfer the data from excel to AutoCAD.There is a file TMaker.exe to make template of excel data.I could not find that elsewhere on net.If someone see that video good otherwise help me making earthwork x-sections with AutoCAD. Are you using AutoCAD or 3DS MAX & VIZ? What versions of the software are you using?
Plenty of info here at CADTutor for doing this with AutoCAD. You have posted in the 3DS Max section. Your question has been moved to the Autocad beginners section. Anyone can give some information i am new to these forums. freshman123 Searching Youtube for 'Cross Section in AutoCAD' returned 153 results. You may want to be a bit more specific.
Are you using Civil 3D? It's hard to tell from your profile. I have seen many videos on youtube but the one i mentioned is best of all.But there is a little ambiguity.I use AutoCAD 2004.Whatever problem i have i clearly described in start. Provide the link to the YouTube video.
If you had clearly described the problem, you would have recieved an answer. You may be seeking _DATAEXTRACTION, but I do not believe AutoCAD 2004 had this ability.
Try CADTOOLS it is free. Simply i have some data on excel sheets about stations and their elevations and i
want to make x-sections through autoCAD.I want to know that how will AutoCAD recognize data and prepare x-sections.If further explaination is required the video i described on youtube can be watched.I am very much thankful to all those who provide any kind of response on this subject.
You keep talking about this Youtube video but you still have not provided us with a link to it.
