object snap... but not back to

Hi,
One thing that drives me nuts is when I am making minor moves to an object or node, and I drop it and it snaps back to where I started. I then need to then redo the operation and remember to first hit my F3 key to disable osnap.
I would love a way to leave osnap on and have the program be smart enough to not include the starting point as a valid snap target.
does anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions?

Any Suggestion Suggest you send it as a software request to Autodesk.

Only other thing is to change the current osnaps to say not have end on we have five osnap hot codes but you still have to do the command before move else just get used to F3 remember also hold shift key and right button on mouse at same time. "move object pt shift/mouse"

I'd suggest that for these types of "minor" moves you use direct distance entry.

You can use Shift+A to temp override Osnap settings, once you release the Shift+A your osnaps are still set ready to go again.

You can use a lisp routine called nudge.lsp (not one I wrote) to use the numeric arrow keys to move objects. You can set any size increment you like prior to useing 2, 4, 6, or 8 to move the object(s).
