Can't Delete Anything
Now I'm having trouble deleting things in my drawing.I draw a line, select it, and press the Delete key on my keyboard but nothing happnes.I add a linear dimension, select it, and press the Delet key and nothing.I select text that was originally in the drawing and not something I just added and I press the Delete key and still nothing happens.I tried deleting something in Word and it deleted fine so it's not my keyboard.
I did go to Tools -> Options -> Selection and turned off the Pick and Drag option but that's all I've done.I was able to delete earlier.I know AutoCAD has been acting strange today. It crashed twice and froze my computer once.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Dawn Now I'm really going crazy here.I had checked PICKFIRST and it was set to 0 so I changed it to 1 so I can select and delete things but now I can't make a selection window without holding the left button down.So I checked Tools -> Options -> Selection again and guess what!Press and drag was selected again. What's going on?Why is AutoCAD changing my settings on me? Are you using any custom lisp routines? No I'm not using any LISP routines right now.I've been having some gliches today and I wonder if it was just a boot up issue.Sometimes rebooting the entire computer or just AutoCAD can help straighten things out.
Thanks for your help.
