Bend/add image to a surface

Hi Everyone

Im new to the AutoCAD world, i've been doing this maybe for a few months and at the moment im trying to learn abit about AutoCAD 3d.
My question is - I have a image and a cylindrical surface and what i want to do is to bend the picture so it fits to the cylindrical surface.

The purpose of this is that im trying to do a tankpit in 3d, im working in the Oilindustry.

Best Regards

Maybe this tutorial about mapping materials might get you started.

In your field I would be learning Autodesk Inventor rather than by fooling with AutoCAD.In Inventor you would use the Decal command with Wrap to Face.

In AutoCAD you might need to also use the Imprint command to slpit the face before you apply the material as described in previous link.
