Get_tile and mtext problem

Before, when I just use a simple getstring command, mtext works just fine:

(command "_mtext" '(221 369) "J" "MC" '(395 357) V1 "")

But now I am using a dialog box, I did this:

copy

(action_tile "accept" (setq V1 (get_tile "Street_name")))

However, if I use a "text" command, it works fine.

Both getstring and get_tile should give me a string back right? Why is this so?

Also, is there a way to assign a button with a value, so that when I click on first button, the program is going to set a variable to 1, then second button for setting variable to 2?
