What are you looking to achieve exactly? Extract the coordinates of some points into a table? How will be those identified? Are the vertexes of a polyline? Or were marked with blocks?
Have you checked the built-in DATAEXTRACTION command?

go to http://www.lee-mac.com/ and look for PTmanager.... it will get you started and get you a LWpolyline to work with.
