Yes but the result of pedit is not nice. Pedit draws a curve, I would like have a polyline which draws of line and tagential arc. Roaddesign works mostly with lines and arcs.
You should re-read you road horizontal geometry guidelines again, the radius of curves and spirals are there so when your speeding you do not run off the road. You could though build a lisp taking into account your design paremeters and convert two straight lines joining now with the correct arc.
