Hi Guys,
 
Another minor thing that has been bugging me for a while now.
 
What is the purpose of the single apostrophe?
 
I see it sometimes as opposed to "", but I can't see why... Are they interchangeable?
 
Sorry to bother everyone with this minor question.

I think (long time/no LISP) it makes a list literal rather than evaluated. (If that makes sense!)
