I must have been clicking rapidly and somehow managed to change a setting. I am unable to see the PROPERTIES or SELECT SIMILAR option when I right click in Model Space. Does anyone know what I may have done or how to change?
You could also add commands on the right click under CUI. There is a drop down for shortcut menus click customization in all files (above all the commands in the list), look for default shortcut menu, and drag the commands you want there, in this case select similar and properties. Also I like to customize the edit menu, comes in handy. This is when you already have objects selected to edit.
