autocad to mastercam...?

im currently using Autocad2004. What is the best way to send 3D solid drawings to Mastercam? dxf, Iges, block...? and how..?

There are many ways including dwg, dfx, ipt, and ipa. I'm not sure there really is a best way, but I suggest dwg because your layer settings are saved when you send them to Mastercam. Any else? Just ask, cuz I'm almost always online.
