Newby scale problem.

AutoCAD 2010. Created a footer for a log home, 30'x37'-4". Footer is 24"x12" w/ 6 rebars. zoomed in to do cross section view of the footer. scaled it up so you could see it and read the dims from the full view. Now my footer is 7'-5" x 3'-8".
How do I dim it back to 24"x12".

It is not the version of Cad they use that is the issue, it is the outdated methodology and lesson plans they use. It is as if you went to college history class and found them using a super high tech HD wireless Audio/video system to present a lesson photocopied out of a 1966 text book, which is by the way, the last year the instructor reviewed the class textbook.
