Displaying x-refs

Help please!

I've recently upgraded to LT2011, and now when I load xrefs, they don't seem to display in model view. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Do you see them in a layout tab, in a viewport? If you go to the modeltab you don't see the xref?

Sorry - didn't make myself very clear.
I can't see the xrefs in model space. I design comms networks and usual method is to xref power authorities trenching plans as base layer and then add my design layers over.
At the moment I can't see any sign of the xrefs.

The only difference between the releases that might cause this would be XDWGFADECTL, check help and then set to a number that might make it easier to see. You can adjust in options or typing the system variable.
