Convert Tables to Spreadsheet?

Is there a way to convert an AutoCAD table into a spreadsheet? I've read tons about creating a table from a spreadsheet but I need to go the other way.

From AutoCAD Help:

"The same data that is extracted to a table can be exported to an external file. On the Choose Output page, select the Output Data to an External File option." That external file can be a spreadsheet.

Thanks ReMark. I had looked through Help but couldn't find anything so I looked again using Output Data and found the instructions. I tried it but it didn't work so I'll have to go through the wizard again until I get it right.

I've successfully done it a couple of times. It beats the old way of creating a template file.

Well I got it to create a spreadsheet but it didn't extract the data from the table to the spreadsheet.

What is a .dxf anyway?

FYI - I tested out a 3.3MB Excel file for datalinking (by sheet) to AutoCAD and actually got it to work but it takes a computer with some muscle to do it. I did it on a Core-Duo 32-bit system with 4GB RAM installed (3GB recognized). Had to disable the preview feature otherwise it takes too long.
