Dimension Text Height won'

Hello: Using the Dimension Style Manager, under List, I select "Style in use" After, I click the modify button. After, I click on the text tab....and change the text height.

This setting stays while I'm working on a drawing; however, when I open a new drawing, it's gone.

How can I get the dimension text height to remain the same always?
