I am now running AutoCad 2000 but previous that, I have had sent a number of drawings originally created in AutoCad but which had been saved as MS-word documents.
Is it now possible to re-open these .doc documents in AutoCad 2000?
in 08 and 09, the only versions ive tried this in, you can attach a wmf(windows meta file) to a dwg, you first have to convert the .doc to .wmf (i get them when they are already .wmf so i dont know how to conver just that you can) and attach that way but there isnt a way to take a .doc and convert to a .dwg
When you open the word document in Word does is the image one object? When I copy and paste something from acad to word I can doble click the image in word and it will open up an acad drawing with that image... I just happened to stumble acroos this as I was playing with word and acad so i am not sure what is needed to make it happen, but its worth a try.
