Extrude along a path?

I have a single curved line that I want to convert to a 2" diamter rod. In Solidworks this is called "sweep along path". I do not know what it is called in Rhino. If someone would please give me a step by step procedure for doing this, I would appreciate it. I am a beginner in Rhino, as if you didn't know.

Rhino also has a Sweep command. There are actually 2 sweep commands. Sweep1 and Sweep2. Check your Help files for information.
