ObjectARX2006伴随着2006到来，对我们来说新的痛苦终于又一次来到，恭喜大家又得埋头撅腚的琢磨一段时间了。

不过下边两段话，对许多人来说应该是好消息。
Enhanced Microsoft .NET Framework Programming Support
The ObjectARX® managed wrapper classes now include sophisticated selection, jig, and prompt support; complete events coverage previously available only to C++ reactors; and an application object model to give you convienient and readily discoverable access to the properties of the application, document, editor, and window objects of AutoCAD®. .NET applications can easily create dockable palettes and tool palettes and extend tabbed dialogs. The geometry library now includes 2D curves, and support for external references has been added.

API Compatibility
Autodesk is maintaining binary compatibility between AutoCAD 2005 and AutoCAD 2006. As with previous binary-compatible releases of the ObjectARX and ObjectDBX SDKs, Autodesk supports forward application compatibility but not backward compatibility. In other words, applications built with ObjectARX for AutoCAD 2005 will run in AutoCAD 2006, but applications built with ObjectARX for AutoCAD 2006 will not run in AutoCAD 2005.

Microsoft Development Environment Compatibility Issues
AutoCAD 2006 supports both managed (.NET) applications and unmanaged ObjectARX applications. For managed applications, any development environment that builds applications for the .NET framework is acceptable. For unmanaged applications, the Microsoft Development Environment 2002, Version 7.0, is required.
Because ObjectARX libraries are built with the 7.0 versions of Microsoft's MFC and C-runtime libraries, unmanaged ObjectARX applications built with the 7.1 libraries of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 (code-named "Everett") may experience memory-allocation conflicts.
When AutoCAD 2006 attempts to load an application that uses incompatible runtime libraries, it posts a dialog box that lets the user choose whether to allow such applications to be loaded. This behavior applies to unmanaged applications built with Microsoft Visual Studio 6, as well as those built with Everett.
Developers who use the Everett environment for unmanaged ObjectARX development do so without warranty and at their own risk. |
